This hotel is one of our most iconic projects and was officially opened by Nelson Mandela in 1997. The Hilton Hotel forms part of the Durban ICC precinct and this was the reason for this project being one of the fastest constructed high-rise Hilton Hotels, only taking 19 months to build, in order to coincide the opening with the adjacent ICC.

In a nationwide survey by Visi Magazine, this Hilton Hotel was voted by the public as the best building in the province in 2005.
