Our Clients had purchased a plot within Les Muguets Estate on the island of Mauritius and approached us to design their dream home. The brief required careful planning and ingenuity to provide for our Clients' every want and need whilst still conforming the the Estate’s requirements and the site limitations. Ensuring their vintage car could drive into its display area within the home office via the double garage and drying yard is one example of that. The open-plan living spaces blend in with the outdoors using full-height glazing and large openable panels. Features like the portal frame pergola, vertical slatted screens, and solid roofs over the outdoor areas provide much-needed solar control, allowing the natural daylight to filter into the interior spaces. This home is currently under construction and we are very excited to see the finished product.
