FGG Architects has been responsible for the design of Retail and Office developments since the early 1960s. The first large scale office block completed by the firm was Standard House in the Durban CBD for the Standard Bank Group.

More recently, renovations to the KPMG Durban offices and additions to The Maritzburg Arch and The Falls Centres in the Midlands have been completed.

Looking back into the archives, during the 80s the firm designed the Cape Dutch inspired head offices for the Tongaat Huelett group and at the same time The Wheel shopping centre in Durban’s CBD, complete with a fully operational Ferris wheel on the main facade of the building. This was followed soon after by the offices for Delen & Oudkerk, a national award of merit for architecture recipient.

The early 2000s brought the completion of offices for Price Waterhouse Cooper, adjacent to the Silveroaks Centre in Durban, as well as the development of the Umlazi Megacity to the South.
